Mark,
When my wife and I were in college about a century and a half ago....we had a mutual friend named Cindy Jamison who used to love Snickers candy bars. She used to have "Snickers attacks" so-called for the intense cravings she had for them. All of us Mark are having Snickers attacks for your tying. Please feed our need often!

P.S. If we took a razor and split the sides of your pattern, would there be peanuts and caramel and nuget (spelling?) inside? If so, I want to put in my order for a cool dozen of these!

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.

Re: Snickers
Doug,
I once read an article in Fly Fisherman Magazine, which I believe was written by famous artist/angler Dave Whitlock. The name of it was "Throw Them A Snickers". The article was basically saying that during a regular hatch, good sized fish could be coaxed into deviating from their feeding on hatching insects by tossing them something large and delectable- a Snickers Bar, so to speak. I was attempting to fill the bill with this fly. I think it'd work.

Yep! I've done that. On the Delaware River near the Deposit area. Trout rising everywhere & couldn't buy a take for nothing.
put on a type 6 sinking line with a 7ft tungston leader & a big hairwing streamer. Hooked a huge Brown that nearly spooled me before breaking off.
