Dark Copper, Mole and Hen

A slightly smaller slimmer version, using small, dark copper uni-wire, and a hen hackle.

Daiichi of scud hook of choice
Orange Uni 8/0
Dark Copper Small Uni-wire
Natural Mole from the skin

I find the color scheme on this pattern to be especially harmonious (i.e. - pleasant to look at).

I believe you gave me one of these on your last trip up; your excellent photo brings to light things I can't see any more with the naked eye, and reveals just how expertly tied it is.

Thanks everyone. This fly is very quick to tie and very effective when things are slow. I've been tying these in a few variations - they're kind of addictive.
