Peacock and Red Tenkara

Post by kanutripr » Wed Apr 27, 2011 3:31 pm

So just because it's pouring today and I can't go fishing I'm going to make everyone suffer!

Suffer? Great design Vicki. That thing looks juicy!
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Vicki,
I know what you mean about the rain. It's sunny and .....starting to cloud up on the western horizion. If this is the way you make us suffer dear, then hit us with another pattern like this one! It's really great! Almost Christmas-y! Keep up the good work Vicki! We like what you do when the weather gets nasty.

That's a dynomite tenkara fly.....but i sure hope you reinforced that herl with the thread.....or it's a gonner with the first fish. Also, i think (just my way  ), that just a tad of herl in front of the wing would look even better.....one, maybe two turns. Maybe a silver tag would.....ooppss..... .....i better cool it..... ..... :D ..... :P ..... ;) .....

The herl is actually underneath the floss so it should be good for a couple of fish!
