Cavin's Nymph

Post by Johnno » Sat May 07, 2011 6:01 pm

An earlier New Zealand nymph. No idea who Cavin was or where he fished. But here tis anyway. Blue a colour not often seen on wingless flies. Never fished with one but i'm sure it would have it's day. Apologies the body is a bit lumpy but I'm sure the trouts won't mind:

Dressing is fairly self explanatory, thats a blue silk floss body and the thorax is black ostrich herl

Oooo... Very nice. I am on a bit of a blue kick lately. I love the black & blue & silver color scheme. Beautiful...
