Nicely done, and it will fool a lot of fish.

Kacbo, I have been thinking the same thing recently, but failed to act on it. (I've been tying nymphs for a few weeks.) I could fill my box with this pattern in various colors and proportions and be very confident. Great tie.

Beautiful fly!
I fish a similar muskrat flymph with a tan zelon or sparkle yarn shuck with some great results.

By any chance do you fish the Sava Bohinka?

Nice tye Kacbo ! The 2x and 3x heavy hooks are my favorites for flymphs or some soft hackles as well as wetflies.

Thank everyone for kind words!
@ William Anderson
Nymphing is my favourte... so I know what you mean!
@ Roadkill
I haven't fish this flymph yet. I don't fish Sava Bohinjka, it's Slovenian river; just heard of it (all the best about it).
@michaelgmcgraw
In rapid and turbulent waters I fish, some weight comes handy...

I bet this looks really killer in the water. I really like how it looks so light and lifelike.
