kacbo, Misa just got two books recently in the mail. One from Tenkara Dio (Doc Ishigaki), and another.....i dunno who wrote it......they're both in Japanese......but there are some KILLER Tenkara fly pics/recipes in both books. Your Pheasent tail Tenkara fly with the glass bead made me think of it. i wish you could see these patterns..........if you want, i can see if Misa can send you some kinna info on how to aquire the book(s).........there must be a way. ;)

Nice flies. I'd bet they would produce regardless of which direction the hackle points
