Roadkill, Howdy;
Good looking fly ...
Careful with them beads ... you'll find yourself teetering on the brink of the "darkside' before ya knows it..

Hank,
Tying is part of a Yin/Yang thing. The decent into the "darkside" started with a simple glass bead scud from an expo about 15 years ago. But don't worry my
Darth Wader personality doesn't really come out until I am surf casting and tie on Joe Warren style Saltwater extended body flies with bite tippit, crimp sleeves, fish hair and larger beads.

That pattern has all of the desired features combined in beautiful fashion; I'm betting that it will be very successful as a fish catcher.

It was the last two days as Dubbn said in all parts of the water column.

Yesterday I tried it in a #16 as well, both will find a place in my Soft Hackle boxes.

Yeah, that's great. It works for all the right reasons. I hope to hear reports soon.

Great creation you have there, and I love the colors too. The bead tops it off nicely!
