Re: March Brown
Lovely. Really like the one on the left. I'm partial to the red in a March Brown pattern.
Thanks for posting.

Stendalen, Howdy;
Welcome back, glad you decieded to dry out your waders (chuckle = skrockande, I hope is the correct translation),
When you re-enter the forum you come back with a bang ! Those are some beautiful flys
the one here and in your other post..

I do like these, I have a taste for 'March Browns'.
Very nice flies. Any recipes?

Re: March Brown
Amazing ties, but I'm most intrigued by your photography set-up--"expensive glass" I think is a given
, but are you working with a light-box/mutiple (natural) lamps as well?
Re: March Brown

Stendalen, No worries about the hackle! In my book your fly looks that much more of a true life fish catcher.

Re: March Brown
Thank you all for the kind feedback!
Regarding the hackle...it's cock hackle
My setup for photographing flies is really simple. I have a nice camera Nikon D7000. However the optics is my farthers old manual Nikkormat optics from 1963. I use an extension ring origin from the same time period
.
See enclosed picture for my setup.
