Somma you may or may not remember.....two yrs. ago next month, i organized a Tyathon as a benifit for a sick friend who needed surgeries to have tumors removed and anyway.....this is one of the flies Misa tyed that day and donated to the boxes of flies that got auctioned. Apparently the guy who won the box that had Misa's fly in it, liked the fly enough to email Misa and put in an order for more. Her first ever commercial fly order.

i'm so proud of her.

But don't ask me how she came up with that name.....i have NO clue.....OR, as to why it took two years.

Tell Misa it's wonderful. You'll have to post the materials for it.

Tkx. Vicki.....i'll pass that along. Far as i know it's just marabou for tail and body & grizzle hackle.....that's it. Why? i have no idea.......because she usually puts a few strands of KF in the tail, and dumb bell eyes on these things.....i guess since she already had the dumb bell sittin' right next to her.....
i was just struck by anyone actually ordering these things by the dozen........either they don't tye, or just don't have the time, or the thing just worked that well.....who the heck knows.

i mean you could get the kid down the street to do these up, for almost nuffin', if he tyes. Go figure.....

I can see why somebody would order more of these from Misa ... that is a wonderfully buggy-looking creation.
