I like these type of patters. With a twist. Don't know about the Turton guy. Will check it out.
And the hook is new as well. Been looking for straigt eyed Mustad.

i've got lots of those Mustad 3366 hooks.........it's a great hook. They sell 'em at Cabela's. Some guys actually cut the eyes off of those and do MOM flies on 'em with snelled mono or gut "lengths" attached for that classic old fashioned look. Great (yet very inexpensive), hook for MOM flies.
