body ..... hare's mask dubbing, behind ears + pinch of ICE; twisted in split tread
hackle ... teal (flank?) feather, tip removed; inserted in split tread and twisted, then wound
thorax ... hare's mask dubbing, dark shades between the eyes

Think global, tie local... This fly(mph?) is inspired with great design - Calvert Bird's Nest. The biggest difference is the way of tying the legs, while dabbing is traditionally favored by domestic rodents.

I'm playing with hackle stiffness/textures right now... Supose that it is true, that Big Jim Leinsenring spoked something about "three degree of stiffness"..? If that is true, my game got sense and this fly represent stiff one, among soft hackles.

That's a very fishy fly and a great name too. It's funny how the suggestive mayfly turns to a suggestive caddis in the second pic. The lighting and background make quite a difference. Something about how the camera adds 10lbs.
