Hook: Mustad Signature R70, size 12
Thread: Pearsall's chestnut
Hackle: ginger hen
Abdomen: "string" from grocery fruit mesh bag, red, wound touching turns to hook bend. Auburn rabbit fur from behind ears on hare's mask, white tips cut off, then applied into split red "string", twisted, then wound in open turns towards hook eye.
Thorax: auburn rabbit fur

Love it Tom! The colours are so complimentary. And I can just see you in the produce section mumbling to yourself, despairing over what fruit you're going to try next and everyone in the store thinking maybe you need to be committed! :D

:lol: :lol: :lol: That's not very far from the truth! It just proves you can get your inspiration anywhere! The produce section yields much fruit. :roll: Ideas for color combinations, those colorful and verstile mesh produce bags, and interesting fly stands! :P
