Thread: black Griffiths 14/0
Thorax: duffy material from base of hackle feather
Hackle: Starling.



Yes...this in the middle of a conversation where I decree color to fall lower on my list of importance....I'm a walking contradiction.

Ha, like the man said, "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines." Nice fly--I could definitely see the "sippers" going for this in the film.

Good use of the "duffy " material. An enterprising person could make some money packaging that and giving it a fancy name for re-sale at better fly shops around the world.
(And I like the hook color, too.)
