Tag: Green Chartreusey Yarn 1 strand of 6
Body: Black Flymaster 6/0
Underwing: Black Fox Reverse tied (tips out over the eye then folded back b4 hackle applied)
Wing: Black Short Cock Hackle
Head: Thread coated w/ Gorilla Glue

Hey Lykos, this must be the first time I've seen Gorilla glue listed in a pattern. Looks like a nicely finished head. Any reason for the glue choice?

William, Gorilla super glue fills in any depressions in the thread, dries fairly quick, has a fairly shiny finish, and will NEVER let go. I use it on almost all my flies now especially ones with material famous for moving or pulling out...like squirrel . After it dries I generally overcoat wit SHHN for that really nice finish..Murray
