Purple SH

I was a bit bored so I thought I would retrain myself to whip finish the "correct" way(body to eye). How can changing one little tiny process short circuit my brain? You would think I was only tying with one finger on each hand.

Anyhow, here is what I was practicing on.... Purple Soft Hackle

Hook - Mustad 3906 size 12
Thread - Benicchi 12/0 Charcoal
Tail - Light Dun Hen
Body- SLF Purple
Collar - Light Dun Hen

I think you should call this a "Headless Purple Dun". Very impressive tying.

Thanks for the comments folks. I do like a small head on my flies. :-)

BTW, I had to give my grandaughter half of these flys. Her name is Violette. ;)
