Smuggler, Howdy;
Ray's correct, as usual, what you tyed is great lookin',
and the pic showes it off nicely...
Give me a break Ray ... Had to walk a 3 mile round trip today to get
the package from the Post office.... Trucks in the shop getting an oil leak fixed.
Rascal was as happy as a clam at the end of the sewer (feed), pipe about the long romp.
I'll see what I can do tomorrow .....

Smuggler ... that is a real beauty. There's gonna be more than a few days when it will be exactly the right thing to have on the end of your line.

Wow, I missed a lot. Hank, I'm glad you were able to locate this yarn and I'm looking forward to your fly pics. Tomorrow will work.
Chris sent mine in record time as well, which is nice, but more importantly this stuff really is amazing. I have quite a number of yarns that need attention soon, but this have such a built in advantage.
Smuggler, wonderful fly. The tones work nicely with the ostrich thorax and everything about this one looks lively.
I've got some catching up to do tying and reading.

Thanks guys, that yarn is such a great product. And for $2.50 you get enough to tie a bunch of flies.
I'll def be ordering from Chris again, thanks for sharing that website on the forum.

Hank, great looking ties. Nice straggly looking wool bodies, I like the texture and the colours.
Well done sir.

Re: Wool Scud Bug Soft Hackle
Hank - When I was photographing the Killer Bug pattern, it was just begging for a wet shot. I dropped in it a cup of water and fully saturated the fly and took another picture. Darned thing looks just like some of the critters (scuds) that were crawling around on the weeds at the spring creek I recently fished. I am convinced this will get positive results!
You, sir, have been holding out on us.

Hank ~ Like your soon-to-be fishing partner DUBBN, you have a real eye for what will appeal to the fishies. Nice tying, and thanks to Ray for the great photos too.

Same for me, Hank. You've got a good eye. Get your rehab behind you so you can spend plenty of time at the vise and sport your skills for swap #19. Great set.
