Nice bright looking pattern. I have just started experimenting with biot bodies in place of stripped herl on some dry and emerger patterns...... much duller and mundane in colour and none as neatly formed as the fly above though.
There is a member of the forum from Norn Iron who just loves picric and ties a lot of flies using materials dyed with it. Maybe picric is the "peacock" of dyed material?
