I really like the look of these, even if we can't see the details. I've never tried mixing peacock and ostrich like that, but want to give it a try now.

And another. I tied this a couple of days ago, the herl is twisted around a length of fine red wire then applied to the hook shank as a body. I'm just experimenting with what I can do to create different effects, which may attract fish 

Hook: Tiemco #12
Thread: 6/0 Orange

gig, that is a really clever idea! Not sure I have seen that before and had often wondered about dubbing wire, this looks a lot cleaner and easier. Like the way you think!
