Olive and Dun

Post by DUBBN » Sat Dec 15, 2012 10:37 am

Along with a Brahma Hen cape that I purchased last week, I also purchased a new Whiting Hen Cape in Dun. I do like Dun. Brown is still my favorite, but I would hate to give up my Dun if I had to make a choice.

Hook - It was laying on my desk, and I am guessing it is a Mustad 3906B, size 14
Thread - Benecchi 12/0, Olive
Abdomen - Thread base, with clear Midge tubing, and gold wire core.
Thorax - Olive/Brown Dubbing (Wee Folk from Flytyers Dungeon) in a split thread. Thanks Hank :)
Collar - Dun Hen Hackle

Awesome-looking fly, Wayne. You just keep knocking them out of the park. :)

Some VERY nice fishy looking patterns there, like the wing buds/cases. ;)
