There is a great deal to admire here, not the least of which, the thorax hackle and ribbing on the fly to the right. It makes the over all proportions and balance that much more elegant. Nicely done and the pics...good lord that's nice.

Martin - I keep coming back again and again, for another look at these flies. You've taken a simple pattern to a whole new level. The copper rib is such a nice touch. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the one on the right. My eyes are drawn to the hackle/thorax of the fly. Perfection. That being said, if I had to pick one to fish, it would be the one on the left. I would have complete confidence fishing the bead head version.
