Good Looking Flies

Post by Soft-hackle » Wed Jul 14, 2010 9:21 am

Hey,
I just want to say thanks to the members who have recently posted fly patterns. They all look super. Rather than post in each thread I thought I'd just say, " Nice work, everyone! Your flies have turned me on." The problem is, our current conditions, here, are not enticing. My river is low and cooking in the mid-day sun, so I leave the trout to fend for themselves. I've not had the opportunity to try for any other species nor have I had the opportunity to sit at my vise, but your flies are wonderful and I'm looking forward to getting back to my vise, soon. Thanks for being here.

Mark

Nope, thank you Mark for giving us a "here" to call home.

I'm having the opposite but same problem, cold Spring, record rains in May and the rivers are still too cold and high with snow melt to fish. A week or two more though and we should be cooking.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Mark, I'm with you. My input has been lacking, but I love this place and when things start to come around again, i'll be posting more and tying more. I truly enjoy what is going on here. It's a please to be a part of it.

Oh, Yea.....to all three of you! Great job Mark & Jim on creating this "home" as Old Hat said for everyone to come and see and enjoy!
Fall is a great time here in the valley. I want to expound sometime on the great fishing I have been fortunate enough to enjoy in seasons past. Expounding is what I like to do. No, I am not a minister but I played one on t.v. That's a farce too!
Let's have some summer fun with it,

Fish when you can, not when you should! Anything short of this is just a disaster.
