My Creations...Thanks Ruard!!

Post by DOUGSDEN » Mon Sep 27, 2010 6:12 pm

Gentlemen,
I think I am being dragged into the 90's (kicking and screaming) with the help of our pal,
Ruard and my lovely and computer savy daughter, Erica. Thanks to you both!
The three that you see (there are 7 in all) were photographed and then added to photobucket with the help of Ruard. Receipes? That's next weeks lesson in computers 101. I am still working on procuring a digital camera for these events. Still learning but loving it after all these years,
Dougsden (Oh, let me know what you think!)

Doug - I would proudly fish any of them! I am delighted to see your creations (my appreciation to your helpers).

Doug,
It is nice to see you are being dragged, and the flies look pretty good. Ready to add water, I'd say.

They all look like fish catchers Dougsden, but three for me looks seriously busy! :)
Great to see some photos of what you're tying as well, if these are anything to go by, very much look forward to seeing more!

Good morning Andrew and others,
Thanks for the compliments. Number 3? Yep, it's busy alright. Hence the name Bad Hair Day.
Our pal Tie2fish has given it a test drive on his home waters but it met with rejection. I am not taken back however. There will be a time and a place for it just as with all these creations! I will try posting some others waiting in the wings (thanks again Ruard) soon.
I've gotta go to work for some reason??
Dougsden

P.S. I will try to tag the next round with names and hopefully a receipe for each too!

I'm sure Dougsden's "Bad Hair Day" will catch fish :). The day I tried it nothing else worked very well either, and it did draw some attention, which was more than did some other patterns that normally work well on that water.

All wonderful examples Doug. Thanks for sharing.
