Speaking of hot spots, be they buttered or not..., I tied a bunch of those after you first posted them earlier this year! I tied them beadless, and simply weighted the hook shank a tad. I fished them down and across and tried to finish it off with a bit of a Leisenring lift. They work wonderfully. Thanks for posting them.
