Like several others who have commented, I too had to copy this fly. Hope to field test it when we go to WY next month.
Hackle is Collins hen neck. I didn't twist the peacock with the thread; I just ribbed the peacock with a long tag of the Pearsall's.

It was a very slow day for me on the Gunnison yesterday. I am glad I tied this in sizes 16 and 14. It saved my bacon, and kept the skunk off me.
