I enjoy listening to music which captures the outdoors. I like Ferde Grofe'-The Grand Canyon Suite. It captues the moods of nature and you can "hear" the river in it. I also like The Four Seasons by Vivaldi. Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland is another. It takes me to the countryside. Beethoven's "Pastorale" is another.

I'm usually listening to bluegrass or Christian based.
Stuck on The Infamous Stringdusters lately.

I couldn't put a genre on it, as it shifts daily, if not throughout the day, but I'm lately gravitating toward a manchester band named Elbow (similar to the Doves), Radiohead is always in the playlist and I'm once again fixated on the last two Kings of Leon albums. Bluegrass works. Jazz on occasion. Modern and post-modern indie from the UK circa 1978-present.
With small kids about, I'm either listening to Kids-Bop pop music when they are awake or whatever I can quietly without disturbing their sleep. Little monkeys certainly changed the dynamic completely.

As it should be.

I always have something on while tying. Folk, alt rock, classical are types of music I like.
Ever hear of the Civil Wars? Check 'em out, I really don't know anyone who doesn't like them.
