When I spoke to Steve Cooper (Cookshill, met him at a fair the other week), I reminded him of that I had been on his waiting list for a golden plover skin for six years when I at last got one. He told me that some years they are plentiful, others not. The last two years he has only aquired one (1) skin. I'm glad to have mine.
