No doubt its an iso pattern...very nice

I appreciate the feedback ... thanks, all, for your kind remarks.

I like the looks of all the Iso patterns I see presented on this forum. I look at them and try to decide if I should tye some up. I talk myself out of it because we dont have Iso's in Colorado. This is one of those situations where I am right, but actually wrong, but in my mind, still right.

There are Iso's in Colorado, just not in the waters I fish. They are located in a few counties out on the plains.

Most of the members on this forum seem to light up with a twinkle in your eyes when the insect is mentioned. Thank goodness for GOOGLE, now I know why. And,,,, because of this forum, I get a little entomology lesson most every week.

After an 8-day absence, I am going to try to find time to participate on the forum again. I've missed it, and flies like yours keep me coming back. This is beautiful. It reminded me of a very unkempt Pete Hidy Mahogany Flymph that may or may not be successful with the Isos, but has similar body coloring.



Would bronze peacock herl also make good Iso bodies? I just received some gorgeous bronze from Mataura Mayfly that I will have to try.

You bet it will. That's why Zug Bug's and the good old classic Lead Wing Coachman work so well during this hatch.
