Lance, I enjoy this buttonhole to dubbed thorax approach. Like Leisenring's Tups body (or whoever first described the recipe in that way). I have a bit and should fool around with it a bit. I can see where you might second guess the body length on this one, but the Grip hook leanness a lot more room for interpretation than other hooks. I like your proportion on this one. Its also interesting to deer the seal chopped into shorter lengths. Its a very different effect and allows the thread to show when dry. Btw, I might have sent some seal in a solid dye, but the blend I made recently is a mix of pale olive, light yellow and natural. I can send a much time playing with the grinder as tying. Strangely addictive.
