I made a very simple system this afternoon gluing foam to each side of a 1/16 plastic sheet. I left a 1/2" space at the top and bottom for notches in which I first place the perfection look and then wrap the leaders till I can affix the last fly into the foam. I'll post photo's tomorrow. It works perfectly and fits an old case I have. Thanks for the suggestions.

Pink? That will never work.

Actually a cool set-up. Nice and simple.

Here's a thought: what about a foam cylinder inserted in, say, a small wide-mouthed water bottle? It might give you a better "handle" under streamside conditions than the current wide, flat (and maybe slippery! :) ) iteration.

Creation that is a good idea. However, I'm neurotic about things being in their place and flat. Yes I said it... flat. I like things to fit into slots, spaces and not bulge. Strange, I know, but I like strange. This is my prototype, it might change, with all the excellent suggestions. This prototype is very very light. Now if I can just lighten the box up. olololo Does anyone know or heard of corrugated foam. Now that might make it easier to handle as well.

fflutterly, nothing wrong with that creation. Looks like you've solved your dilemma well. However the beer coaster is cool.
