It does appear to have some white fibers in it. Might have been some sort of a mixture I made long ago and far away. Don't know what the white would be, might even be a little CDC, or possibly rabbit. Gotta start labeling stuff better.
You're in good company, my friend. I have so many mixtures of fur, some in baggies, some already spun, with no idea what they are, it is hopeless. No reason not to use them however, or not to post them for that matter. A little mystery dubbing is good once in a while.

"mystery dubbing"

Cool phrase Lance. I need to remember that.

Ray, Lance - I have lots of mystery dubbing. If I don't take notes while I'm tying, I've forgotten what materials I used.
I have to make a list just to go to the store for milk. :?

A great idea combining CDC and standard hackle. A very likely looking fly.
I have been trolling through my materials lately, I had quite a longish period of non-tying
due to my need for cataract treatment, and now I have found quite an extensive collection of CDC in quite a large variety of colours. I'll have to see what I can come up with. :ugeek: : :)
