Dang. Dubbin, I didn't know the Corn Flake rooster was a Welsummer! Fanciful version but I can see it... Good work on de google. Ya learn something new every day.

Tom, I became acquainted with this breed when my daughter-in-law bought a couple & invited me over to butcher them for her. "Dayum... Whatcha got there? oow. Mind if I take the skin off for ye?" Since then, I've found them nearby a couple times, on Craigslist. I don't know of any outfits selling capes ready-made. In any case you want the whole skin for the variety. The flanks are a good source of webby gingers & mahoganies.
