I went with an all orange dubbing for the thorax and I have this great hen cape that is an orange brown, it was labeled as brown but it's got a hint of orange.

Yep. I have a few like this that I tied...10 years ago and I either tied so many I still have a few or they fell out of favor, as effective flies sometimes do when something new shows up. At any rate, This is a nice tie. You inspired me to tie up a few very similar to this with a woodcock hackle. Time to put them back out there. I did run a gold tinsel as an underbody and it looks cool. Maybe I'll get a pic of one. It's a nice effect. Nicely done.

I'll have to try out the tinsel underbody, I was thinking of trying a pearl tinsel
