Mark, if you had trouble it is not noticeable. It sure looks like you worked it out to your satisfaction, to me. I have a couple of these skins, I like them a lot. I have not used them for a flymph or anything like that yet. The Himalayan Partridge and the Black Francolin are indeed the same. I may of spelled that wrong, I tend to do that.

Mark, this will make a nice addition to all the other well crafted flies on your site. It's nice to see that body come out so lively with the Leisenring loop. I'm also struck by that hackle. It's a beautiful skin. Something to add to the list.

Mark (Soft-hackle) - Is this a dyed skin, or is it natural? The photo appears to have an olive shading on my monitor.

It's not dyed. Ray. The coloration might be appearing off.

I think it may be my monitor. I noticed the colors seemed much brighter on my monitor at work. The one at home is ten years old, so it may not be representing the colors properly.
