Thanks Jeff. I guess you saw the picture of me and Hank and knew I could use all the beauty sleep I could get... :D Thanks mate.

Boris - The fly shown in the photo was tyed with the following recipe:

Partridge-Bronze-Peacock (PBP Soft Hackle)
Hook - Mustad Model 3906 (Size 10)
Thread - 8/0 UNI-Thread (Black)
Hackle - Hungarian Partridge (Natural)
Underbody/Tag - Mylar Tinsel (Silver)
Abdomen - Kreinik "Soie Platte" Single Strand Silk (Color 2244) - Coated with one layer of Super Glue to harden the abdomen & improve durability
Bubble-back/Thorax Cover/Flash Wings - Two strands of Holographic Flashabou (Silver)
Thorax - Peacock Herl (reinforced in a thread dubbing loop)
Head - Tying thread

Materials are listed in the order they are tyed onto the hook.

Unfortunately the Kreinik silk is no longer on the market.

Thanks for that.

Do you have any preferences for the silk that's no longer available?

You could use any number of substitutes (white Pearsalls Marabou colored with a tan or gold permanent marker, rayon floss, thread, stretchy floss/Lycra). Just depends on what you have available.
