Krystal Flash Perditions

Post by Roadkill » Sat Dec 20, 2025 5:31 pm

My Perditions are a take-off of Perdigons. I try to simplify the materials and cut out some stages of the originals.
In this case, I did not use Jig hooks and used the FL hot spot threads for the tying thread on some patterns depending on the under-body color I wanted instead of changing from the under-body tying thread.

My friend Ken had mentioned his recent success with the Gasolina Perdigon...

Part of my change for these flies is related my own fishing and to this video about testing hooks and the angle the fish might see...

Thanks Roadkill for sharing these patterns and the links. Im going to sit down and tie some these up, with the hopes that it warms up a bit in these parts. I have been working on some Bwo nymphs and softhackles. Between batttling COVID and the Michigan winter all I can think of are warm spring days.
Mike.
