Mark, the head is not that bad. I love the colors on this one...an attention getter for sure. No doubt the fish will love this one. You even have your bars all lined up. You got it going on for sure.... :D I love the body on this one...very nice work. I hope you got your rod ready, cause I think you are gonna get some big tugs on it, if you put this baby on it! It says Pink Steel, but it is a rosy reddish pink to me. Maybe my computer is off. Why not consider a tail on this version? Anyway, two thumbs up. I dunno which of today's flies I like the best. I think the ones that I had a fit over were the ones from yesterday. You are on a roll Mark, keep it up. I love your creativity!!!

I'm with Kelly on this one, very cool looking fly and you have seriously got it going on. :D
'The head sucks on this one', seems to be a reoccurring theme! Stop your fussing buddy, the heads look fine, the only time I want here you say the heads sux on this one is if it's an egg sucking rendition of a Flymph. ;) Ooooh, now there's an idea, could be illegal, fluro chenille on a Flymph!!! That might just be pushing the whole melding between old and new a bit too far. Sounds like a self challenge, I'm a lost cause...

IMHO, unless one is simply attempting to prove it can be done, tiny little heads on fishing flies are overrated.

Pink, PINK.....really Mark?!?!

Just kidding. :D I like it. Just think of the head as a ......HOTSPOT!

Unless the heads are actually a hotspot or holding something big onto the hook just a couple of wraps and a whip finish (or in my case a double whip finish) will do just fine. No need for fussing with all your fancy nail polish. Au naturel is the way to go! ;)

And Karsten I think you may be onto something... ;)

Thankx guys........i've just always had this "Thing" bout heads........it really matters not on a fishin' fly, as far as the fish is concerned.............but i HATE anything less than the BEST it can be on ALL flies..........so, like i was tellin' ya elsewhere.....i won't be posting anymore flies tyed on small hooks, as i just don't want to take the time to photograph them only to find out, i don't feel them worthy of posting. i've prolly got 30 or 40 layin' around, that are VERY recent tyes, all done on small hooks for Misa to take to Sloviena in June..........and they look great to the naked eyed.........i'd hate to think what some of the heads must "Really" look like. ............................. Maybe i'll post a group shot (backed off a bit/from a distance), later on.............. :D Keep your ears & eyes peeled over at the JazzFlies thread later today. 8-)
