Each one makes me smile, Tom, and reminds me of when I ran my produce bag ribbon streak
Cheers,

Did you see I'm starting to branch out a little bit? I used to turn my nose up at a lot of veggies, but now I'm starting to like them!
I have to admit, when I first saw your produce bag flies I thought, what is this guy doing? But now I think they are a great material. You could probably spool up some ribbon and sell it!

Forgot to add this...I stripped the barbs off of one side of the feather before wrapping...

Great pattern Izaak! Jasper is one of my favorite body threads & it goes well with the red Grouse.

Beautiful fly! The red grouse goes perfectly with the jasper silk. Very harmonious color combination. Love it!

Beauty of a fly. Dang, that Jasper is gorgeous. I didn't think it looked so great by itself. But seeing it on a hook has changed my mind. I am gonna have to get some of that before long.

This is a great use of the Jasper silk and a wonderful pic to highlight what makes it so compelling. Great fly. Your posts have been very "fresh".

Try one with the jasper body & use a orange dyed partridge hackle.
