As this is shaping into Up Eye classic hooks I dug up some of the hooks I acquired in my early tying years. Here is a fly tied on one of them. Other hooks/flies to follow.

Hook: Partridge Trout U.E. #15
Thread: Benecchi 12/0, black
Hackle: Hen, dyed black
Body: Mole, dyed black - in split thread

Note: Old stock Partridge, approx 19875. Pretty crude barb construction, no?
