Grizzly King (soft hackle v.)
Thread: Pearsall's Highlander green
Rib: fine flat silver tinsel
Body: dark green lamb's wool
Hackle: soft grizzly dun hen hackle
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

Very nice!
I like the simplistic lines that are well tied and the green just pops as a body colour.

Lovely conversion, Carl. Such a clean/crisp rendition. I have long been drawn to the grizzly king patterns. Add this one to my list of favorites.

Carl, I'm jealous of you steelheaders. This is a great little fly, but the anticipation of connecting with a steelhead with a Grizzly King (what a name!) must be amazing. I'll get there one of these days. Nicely tied pattern. The lambs wool is very vibrant. Nice combo.
