Grey and Starling (100% Satisfaction Guaranteed)
Great fly Ruard. It has all of the features of a lethal pattern. I especially like the use of the floss with the dubbing blend.

I like the idea of varied behavior for each of the dubbing types in the body. That looks successful on several levels. I can see the use for Grey Duns, but I wouldn't neglect using this as almost any #16 Caddis emerger. That thickened body suggests a Caddis silhouette among other things. imho.

			Nice!!
I really like the way that method makes the body look segmented!

			Ruard,
Once again, I'm drawn to the wonderful body of this pattern. You are a wizzard with this type of tying. Great looking pattern! Size 16? Wow!

			Hi Ruard,
very cool

From where on the bird do you take the starling hackle?

Thanks Ruard - i am getting to really like the starling for a source of hackles that look to me like they are really going to come alive in the water.
