No 57 from North Country Flies by T. E. Pritt .

Hook. Daiichi 1480 size 12.
Silk. Pearsalls straw.
Head. Peacock Herl.
Body. Yellow silk.
Hackle. Light partridge.

I should follow your example and use peacock as a head.

I use Tan ostrich on some large Partridge Caddis nymphs.

Nicely done. Is it the light partridge hackle where the name of the fly comes from?
