Are the Mustad 3121 hooks available anywhere? I'm a hook junky and I need my fix. 8-)

When I grow up, I wanna tie flies just like William! Great looking ties, as usual!

I have google-searched a couple times and keep hitting dead ends. Maybe there is a treasure-trove of these hooks in Sweden. ;)

   That's generous to a fault, but I love a compliment as much as anyone. Thank you. And thanks to everyone who were kind enough to take a look at these. I really like the seal and plan to do more with it...when I get to it.

I'm kind of digging using the dubbing loop as a rib at the tail, sort of an extention of the controlled chaos twists that I've been tying for the past year and in a way it adds a bit of texture to an area that usually gets a little fancy.

These are not quite up to snuff yet, but viewable until I get new batches tied and photographed. Claret and yellow seal blended with the edge of a hare's mask.

The Mustad 3121's were a gift from Carl Sanders, a wonderful one at that and much appreciated, and I don't have any information on getting a new batch. If anyone comes up with a source, I'd be very interested. It is strange for me to tie on so much real estate after so many flies tied on Daiichi 1530's and 1550's, 1250's and 1140's, but the impression is unique and certainly has a place in the box full of mayfly and stonefly nymphs.

The only up-eyed trout hooks I have been able to find are the Kamasan B440

Or these rather short shank dry fly hooks, they are quite cheap though if bought in bulk.

Mustad 94842 are an up-eye trout hook, although it would appear the 3121's have a longer shank.

w ~ That "Tups 3121" of yours is close to being the most elegant fly I can remeber seeing. Bravo ...
