Cinabar Flymph

Hook: Daiichi #1550
Thread: Orange Uni-thread
Hackle: Golden Speckled Hen Back-one side stripped off of fibers.
First Ribbing:One strand of Peacock herl
Second Ribbing: Fine copper wire counter-wrapped.
Body:Cinnamon colored bear underfur mixed with a little Hare's Mask of the same color. The body was dubbed on 6/0 Danville Tying thread of Pale orange color Leisenring fashion. When dubbing, the fibers of fur were laid perpendicular to the tying thread.

OH BOY, one more vice to add to the vice list..... :D tye2fish.....i have 18 vises.....do they add up to just one more vice? :P

Mark, i LOVE that body.....the flies, not yours..... :lol: GREAT work.....cool name for the fly as well.....good luck on the water with that puppy. ;)

Very nice melding of the materials Mark. I like it a lot.

Another one goes in the "bookmark" file... :) I love the idea of the herl rib to the add a little segmentation/variegation to the abdomen--the counter-wrapped wire keeps it from being a one-fish-fly?

Lovely bit of work there. The body is excellent and one I'll have to try. It has all the triggers for a fish taking fly.
