Here's a "Jazz Fly" that our friend Mark Romero (Willowhead) graciouesly created for me ...

Hook: Antique Shakespeare O'Shaugnessy forged, Size 4/0
Working thread: Danville Flymaster waxed 6/0, white
Finishing thread: Sheer 14/0, primrose
Tag: Kreinik braid, red/black
Tail: Red macaw feather wrapped collar-style
Butt: Montana Fly Co. Salmon dubbing, red
Abdomen: Red & clear glass bead
Thorax: Same dubbing as butt
Rib: Kreinik braided thread, red/gold
Collar/Wing: Two red macaw feathers
Head: Same dubbing as butt/thorax

WOW! sure is right..........but i'm talkin' bout the photo..........man, that is krystal clean a highly detailed. Thankx a lot for shooting and posting it Bill. This particular fly is a good example of something i mentioned here the other day. Both the tail and wing/collar feathers.....have had their tips folded back and straped/locked in, when mounting the feather(s) and before wraping. i did not trim/clip them off. Each is done one at a time obviously. It's just something i like to do sometimes. ;)
Thankx guys, glad ya'll like the fly.......... :D
