Thread: Pearsall's Gossamer, primrose
Hackle: Grouse upper covert
Body: Waxed thread lightly dubbed with pine squirrel fur (the glob of wax is optional)

Bill, I like the overall look of this one. I wasn't going to mention the massive glob of wax squirting out the butt, but sense you've included it in the recipe...what kind of wax do you recommend for that part?

That depends on what you're serving for dinner; the really tacky stuff works well if you're having spicy food, but if you're doing a lot of fiber, you'll want something smooth like plain bee's wax ... :twisted:
