beautiful tye...........do we call these English Tenkara flies, as they are tyed using Pearsalls..........? :D :P :lol: Sure is a grerat looking fly. ;)

btw, Daniel (Tenkara U.S.A.), and Dr. Ishigaki will also be comming to Conclave and arriving early (we'll get there by the 23rd of Aug. Conclave starts the 30th and goes thru Sept. 3rd), for a special Tenkara summitt. Contact Misa for more info misakoflyfish@gmail.com :D

I'm with w'head -- that is a beautiful pattern. Very cool blend of materials.

Oh now that is cool. I like the looks of these flies in general, but the pattern and execution here is amazing. This is beautiful. What a great use of the 1120 as well.

I tied one almost identical but I used olive silk. Yours is much better. I'm having huge issues with the hackle. It's always too long or I tie it in upside down or something. I will keep trying though. Yours is beautiful.
