Steel Blue Quill

Hi mates..
I havnt posted for a long time, but not you worry mates... I have been here lurking around :D

This is a fly I made for autumn grayling fishing, It worked really good. I call it Steel Blue Quill. Tied this a couple of days ago, got some of the Partridge Spider Hooks from a friend to try, I really liked it.. Body Peacock Quill, hackle from the back of a Starling.

Obvious why it works for you. I like the clean lines of your pattern, and the neat little head. Great tye and pic sir.

Exceptionally nice quill work on a great looking pattern.

Nicely executed. Beautiful interpretation of a iron blue.
