Beautiful fly, I'm drawn to the tail, first like that I've seen...
interesting feather.
How did you tye in the hackle ?
Did you use the 'split-thread' or a different method ??

Bunch of barbs tied in as first material, tips over the eye. Folded back over body, after tail and body were completed.

Thanks for the link, I remembered it once it started, but well worth
viewing again.
I was only asking as I know you also do hackle in the slpit thread method as well.
