CdL and Orange Nymph Caddis

Hook: Partridge Klink #16 (similar to a size #12 on any other planet)
Thread: Brown 14/0
Hackle: CdL Hen Saddle
Rib: Small Amber Uniwire
Body: blend of sparkly nymph dubbing, mostly oranges, yellows and browns
Thorax: same...dark brown added

I just olive those CDL feather, but boy are they expensive.

That fly is a definite winner for me! A real knock out. The colors are PERFECT.

That fly is perfect for my summer fishing, I was going to tye something along the same lines so I now have something to work from and just change the colour.

Have you tried any other hackle has I currently don't have any Cdl lying around?
