Rodger, I was reorganizing a couple of my boxes today (when I get the camera out you're in for a barrage of new pics of old flies) and found the period where I first started tying sh's. They are almost all on the daiichi 1720, similar to the 200r. This is lovely, especially with gold silk. I love the look of it wet. Makes for a beautiful pattern with that hackle. I won't be as complimentary with my older ties.

Wow! Great fly, Rodger. I love the lively look of the dubbing. The hackle compliments the body nicely. The round head looks great. I imagine brook trout would be all over this fly as soon as it touches the water. Thanks for sharing.

You certainly do have a way with colors, Rodger. Yet another beautiful pattern that will set the fish's mouths watering (just a figure of speech of course ;) ).
